Turkey Bowl

Our Thanksgiving was spent in West Jordan this year with Kevin's parents. We had a delicious meal thanks to Cheryl and probably could have fed about 20 people with the food we had for the four of us. Kevin's brother and sister and their families were also in town and we got to go bowling to celebrate our nephew Caden's birthday. We have 11 nieces and nephews on Kevin's side, and all were there except the 2 girls that live in Virginia. It was so much fun to see them play with each other and bowl. Even our 2 year old nephew was bowling, although he was very independent and would just grab a ball and send it down a lane at the most random times. He had to have help after a few of his balls ran out of steam and were left sitting half way down the lane.

It was so nice to have the weekend to relax and spend time with family and eat. And eat. And eat some more. Kevin also took me to watch him play ultimate frisbee on Thanksgiving morning and I was able to meet a lot of his long-time Salt Lake buddies. They've had the tradition of playing ultimate on weekends for years, and Kevin was like a kid in a candy store to be back with his friends and playing one of his favorite sports. Good times.

Cute shirt in the pic Jame! And you still look so tiny. I will have to post a pic so you can see the beachball I have stuffed under my shirt all the time ;) He is either going to be really tall or big, or both!

Oh, and homemade croissants? Recipe please!

Thanks, Meg! And the rolls are crescent rolls, not croissants. My mother-in-law has the recipe, but I might have it in one of the cookbooks she gave me. I'll look for you. They were delicious.

Man that food looks sooooo good! Wonder if the airplane food we will get tonight will taste anything like it.

Oh, I adore all the pictures you took of the kids. They had such a great time! Your camera took much better shots than mine... I really think it is the person taking the pictures, although I blame it on the camera;]
You are a talented momma to be! I love what you you are doing for our sweet Goose's room.

ps The rolls are in the Garden Cove Ward recipe book 'Feather light rolls' under my name:)

YUM YUM.... no offense but I bet our mashed potatoes were better cause they were made like your dad's. Tanner is carrying on that tradition. It was good. But those rolls look delicious. Love the belly picture...well what I could see of it. For reals, turn to the side and let me see. LOVE YOU!

FUN! Cute pics - Maggie really says "cheese" every time she sees a camera - Looks like you captured that!
