I love it that a baby can seem to have a completely different personality based on the clothes he's wearing. Case in point: Mikey is SO FUNNY in his bear suit. We've used this a couple of times now since it has been in the 30s when we've taken him outside to run errands. It's perfect for the carseat because it keeps his hands and feet so warm, but we can still buckle the strap between his legs without bunching it around a blanket. We have Natalie or Cheryl to thank for this little number (sorry I can't remember which Old Navy clothes came from which of you two!). I just giggle whenever I look at him in this outfit!
Here's a little photo shoot moment of the bear on the black futon. I changed it to sepia tones, so the futon looks brown too. I just can't get over how adorable he is.
And here's a picture from about a week ago; Mikey fell asleep with his hand suspended in mid air. It was an awesome trick. His hand was literally floating there for several minutes before he twitched again and it came down. It amazes me how deeply he can slumber sometimes.

Oh, that bear is so cute! & of course I love the hand up in the air as he slumbers! Brittney, his cheeks really are so little, he's a tiny cute boy. ;)
I am amazed he can sleep without being swaddled. Does he always sleep like that? Peter seems to be able to get his hands out each night now so I am considering just getting a sleep sack instead. I had a few with Lyza and loved them, but we swaddled her till 4 months :)
Oh, and love the bear suit. Don't you wish they had one in your size!
He usually starts out being swaddled, but breaks an arm or two free at some point. He usually stays asleep anyway if his hands are free. He mostly will wake up and cry only if he's spit up or if it's time for him to eat again.

The sepia tone pic is so cute! I love watching them sleep. It's kinda funny when they twitch, but they can still settle themselves so easily, and not wake up!

Congratulations! I just checked Melissa's blog and saw her little girl and realized you probably had your little one by now as well. You already know this, but he's so handsome! Good work mommy!
