My new four-letter word

I woke up this morning not to the warm glow of sunshine cascading through my window, but to the ever-more-familiar dull gray tint of crappy weather. Aaaah, SNOW! If I could use it as an obscenity and not get strange looks from people, I would. The Butants lied to me. They said it would be warming up in April. I moved here March 30th. Since that time, I think it has reached 70 degrees on about 5 separate days, and I was out of town for 3 of them! Just my luck :)

Here's what it looked like when I walked out of the apartment this morning... lightly snowing, not too much sticking on the ground.
Don't let this smile fool you. In my mind, I am cursing: "SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! GRRRRRRRR! WHY?!?!?!?! It's June freaking 11th!"
After finishing rounds on my patient at the hospital (an hour and a half after above pictures) there is approximately 3 inches of snow on the ground. But wait! Don't worry, we're expected to get 7 inches by the end of the day!

If you ever need a little pick-me-up, just think to yourself, "At least I don't live in Butte, Montana right now." It'll make you feel great. Trust me. :)

Trust me, babe, I wish I WAS living in Butte right now, even with the ridiculous cold weather.

I'm with ya there gurl!! SNOWWW?!?! I'da been equally annoyed. It's been beautiful here in Greeley, CO (ya, shoulda gotten this job, hehe), but a bit smelly as always.

To use the vernacular (loose use of the word), "love ya like a cold sore." I always loved that expression, well at least have always been amused by it. ;)

What is with the wacky weather? I would be ticked off if we had snow piling up in the driveway. Crazy! I AM glad I don’t live in Butte, but at least you get to call your neighbors ‘Butants’. How much fun is that!?!

I once saw Nanci Griffith in concert in Butte. I remember there being a lot of dogs. (In Butte. Not at the concert.)

Hang in there!
