Merry Belated Christmas!
So, my Christmas post is seriously lacking in pictures. My camera battery is dead and I haven't been able to find the charger for about a month. These two pictures of Mikey from Christmas morning are actually still shots I pulled from my video camera. The fishing pictures are from Christmas Eve when Kevin took my dad and brother Loren ice fishing. They did really well that day, and brought home 7 good-sized fish, which we ate over the next several days. It was a first for both my dad and Loren to go ice fishing and I think they had fun. Dad caught the most fish that day, beating Loren and Kevin combined. Loren won for the largest fish caught, a 21" lake trout. The pictures are from Kevin's camera and some of them were a little washed out because of the settings... oops!
Our Christmas was really fun. Mikey didn't understand the whole opening presents concept, but once his presents were opened for him, he LOVED all the new toys he got to play with! I wanted to thank our families (Lewises and Glenns) for a very wonderful Christmas. We were glad to get to see a lot of you in the month of December, including Kevin's brother Steve from Virginia! Thanks for all the wonderful gifts, but more importantly, thanks for the quality time and memories. We're excited for Mikey's first birthday coming up in less than 2 months. He is growing up so fast!

He is just so darling! I can't believe our boys are almost one. Crazy!!
I just SMILE each and every time I see this beautiful boy. He sure wiggled himself right smack into the center of my heart.
Brrrr! You have to really love fishing to do it in that weather. Go you guys! I think North Carolina is really turning me into a wimp.
