So, my wife left me for a week during the holiday season. I've tried not to cry and whine too much, but if the most wonderful person in the world left you all alone for a week you would be depressed as well. The absence of my wife coupled with the long standing absence of ESPN in my life (almost more than I can bear) has me in pretty bad shape. It makes me want to go fishing. What? No wife = no permission needed? SWEET!

So, some of the perch were still kicking after being out of the water for 4 hours, so I tried to revive them in our bathtub to see if I could keep them fresh for an extended period of time. Some of them were able to swim side ways, but after two hours of no improvement, I decided it was time to bust out the knife and fillet them. They were delicious. My buddy, Brian, and I caught over 50 by lunch. I caught 5 rainbows between 13-16 inches, and the rest were perch 8-11 inches. Twas a good day. Now, I'm missing my wife.Jeebers, I love you! Oh, I did wash the tub.... :)

Good catch, Kevin! I love the way you lined them all up in such neat, tidy rows. You're such a...a...what kind of person lines up the fish into neat, tidy rows? (I'm not criticizing or questioning you. I just don't know what those people are called. Neat fish liner-uppers? See! really now what to call that kind of person!) Okay I'll give the horrible comment................YOU PUT THEM IN YOUR TUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taylor took a bath in that tub. Your baby will bathe in that tub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is totally disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eek...Glad you had fun but oh buddy.
